The Seaboot 700 is designed for a wide range of sea conditions, from cruising to offshore sailing. With a reinforced midsole, the boots are both secure and stable, but also very flexible for kneeling and quick movements. The specially developed intermediate soleplate offers excellent thermal resistance against cold decks or very cold water. Zhik, in partnership with Michelin®, has created a specially engineered sole design and a special rubber compound. Inspired by motoring and wet weather technologies, the tread is designed to ensure grip and manoeuvrability in all marine environments. The Seaboot 700 is fully lined with the eVent® eVprotective membrane, which is highly breathable yet fully waterproof. It allows excess heat and sweat to escape, regulating the temperature of the foot. An ultra-flexible lacing system not only allows the boots to be easily put on, but also ensures a secure and supportive fit that further improves manoeuvrability. Zippered leg protectors allow for quick fastening of pants and sailing shorts, and stretchy leg protectors prevent excess fabric from bunching around the legs.
