The costume also incorporates heat-retaining graphene into the quick-drying inner lining to provide the ultimate in insulation and comfort. Based on the development of the super stretch neoprene previously used in our X-suits, the enhanced stretch properties offer improved flexibility and freedom of movement. A high quality graphene-enriched, quick-drying fleece liner maximises comfort and warmth on the water while reducing drying time between uses. Thanks to its natural hydrophobic properties, it repels water, keeping the suit lighter on the water while increasing body heat retention. Graphene’s thermal properties are superior to other inner linings as graphene warms and retains heat faster than other materials. The integrated Yulex® foam is made from durable plant-based materials derived from organic rubber sources. The product is designed to replace the toxic process of neoprene production, which has been used for decades to make most of the planet’s wetsuits. With this natural alternative, all performance characteristics are equal or better, so you don’t have to choose between performance and environmental impact. Yulex® natural rubber products offer optimum functionality, do not cause deforestation and are proven to be equal to or better than neoprene and geoprene in all applications. Zhik X-Series garments have a better fit thanks to a 3D body-shaped design and special seam placement that increases comfort and mobility.
